The lentils are washed in several waters. It is boiled together with the washed, cleaned and cut vegetables in halves or quarters. Add about a liter of water over the vegetables. Add a kettle of boiling water to dilute the soup if necessary. Let it boil for 20-25 minutes, until the lentils are cooked. Here, considering that I didn't know how successful my soup would be, with a spoon with holes or a foamer, I took out half the amount of boiled lentils to make another recipe. With the help of the vertical blender, strain the vegetables well, add the crushed garlic in the mortar, salt and pepper to taste, 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, the cumin seeds fried a little in the pan and crushed well in the mortar. According to my taste, I would have put a handful of mint leaves, but unfortunately my own mint production is just beginning.
